1970’s transformation. A rennovation that embraced its mid century heritage while stepping into a new era.

The clients brief was to maximise the sweeping coastal views from the open plan living area, modernise and create a beauitful relaxing space.

After purchasing the property they engaged KFD Interiors to provide guidance and design direction. Bella and Lifebuilt were approached to take on the cabinetry design and installation as well as construction. The whole space needed to be stripped before we could bring in this new look.

One of the critical features Bella had to incorporate was the structural post behind the sink which supports the roof. The problem it posed, was how we would fit the benchtop. The sollution, was to use a solid acrylic surface such as Corian, this surface allowed the joins to be hidden. The result was seemless, adding to the simplcicity and beauty of the space. We made a feature of this section by installing the floating sheves between the wall and the post, creating a space that doubles as display and a screen.
